Red is the IT color this fall, and I’m so excited to incorporate it into outfits. Here are a few easy ways to wear red as we transition from summer to fall.
The color red is one of the huge color trends this year – I’ve been seeing it everywhere, from bags to shoes to dresses to nails. I’m definitely on board, and I think it’s a great way to add a pop of color to any outfit.
This year I’ve been trying to incorporating more color into my wardrobe, and red is no exception for me. Here are a few fun ways I’ve added red to past outfits.
Outfits With Red
1. Try a red jacket
As we head into cooler weather, a red jacket is a great way to add a fun pop of color to your everyday or your work outfit. This red boucle jacket was a find from last year, but I’ll definitely be wearing it more as the weather cools down.

2. Try a bold red tee with fun pants
Printed pants are huge for summer and fall, and sometimes we get stuck thinking that we need to pair with neutrals to balance…but wear the bold tee! I love this red Target tee with these printed pants — it makes for a bold and fun combination.

3. Add a red bag!
This is the easiest way to add red, because even though you’re holding it, it’s not technically part of your outfit. You could do a crossbody bag, a shoulder bag, or a clutch…all are great options depending on the dressiness level of your outfit.

6. Try a pair of red shoes!
Red shoes are another great way to add a little bit of color without feeling too bold. These red ballet flats have been on repeat for me, but I just got a pair of red sneakers that would also be a fun choice for a summer to fall outfit.
