We all have them, right? Those days you just do not want to get dressed. Sometimes you can get away with a full day in your jammies, but most days there are places to be, errands to run, people coming over, etc, and you just can’t get away with showing up in your pj’s.
So what do I wear on those days when I want to boycott getting dressed
THIS:
old navy pants, c/o
leopard sandals (finally available here!)
j.crew baseball cap (similar here

The solution for me is finding pieces that feel like pajamas. On top, my immediate first choice is a j.crew tee. If you guys don’t own one of their t-shirts, you are majorly missing out. These things are the softest, most lightweight, perfectly oversized, most comfortable tops I own — I would wear them every day if I could get away with it.
On bottom I go for a pair of drapey track pants. Definitely the most comfortable pants I own. These pants are silky smooth and super lightweight. I also love that they are dark blue, since light colored drapey pants can make it really obvious how unflattering these kinds of pants are to your back side.
And to top the whole outfit off, I throw on a hat. Because if I’m not wanting to get dressed, chances are pretty good that I don’t want to do my hair either. A pair of comfy sandals, and the outfit is complete.
What do you guys wear on days you don’t want to get dressed??
Beautiful pants and sandals! You look great in this laid-back outfit!

I know the feeling! And today is one of those days! Hahaha.
Ha, same for me!
I wish I could raid my sisters closet, but it usually goes the other way around! Still, these pieces are so adorable together!

I love this outfit, but it’s slightly too chilly to wear with open toed shoes this time of year for me. How would you transition it for cooler weather? (Or even cold weather)
Try them with sneakers or flats, and then add a jacket that has a little structure (like a denim or leather jacket)!
Thank, Merrick!
I usually go for leggings and a tunic!

I totally have a similar shirt/hat, but here’s my question… can I wear these pants without making my “generous” butt (ahem!) look even more generous? Ha!
My advice is to slim them down a bit. I did that with these ones and it made a huge difference. Just turn them inside out and sew parallel to the original inseam, taking it in a couple of inches. If they’re not so baggy, you won’t look bigger!
Great idea for days when I don’t want to put too much effort into my look, but still not look like I don’t care at all. Thanks for sharing!
The hardest part for me is putting on make-up when I don’t feel like putting in the effort. You look chic in your bum outfit!

Love this look! You are so right with the J. Crew shirts! I need to find more of this look in my closet cause I’m always running late in the morning getting my boys off to school. Having a few go to looks like this would help on those very crazy days! Thanks love your blog
