Momiforms are a staple in my wardrobe — those outfits that are just perfect for running around with your kids. During the winter it’s more jeans and a sweater, styled with a cute pair of ankle boots and a lightweight jacket, but during the summer it’s all about dresses for me. They’re my daily momiform staple, and this lightweight pinstripe shirt dress is no exception.

When I saw this dress in stores a few months ago, I loved it, but it was sleeveless and I knew I wouldn’t ever wear it with a cardigan or jacket (way too warm for that), so I picked up another dress since they were on sale and cut it up to make sleeves. (tutorial here!)

For all my summer dresses, sandals are an obvious shoe choice, and I love these ones from asos (they also come in black!). Add a pretty backpack to keep your hands free, a statement watch, and a pair of sunglasses, and you have my perfect summer momiform.
