Yesterday on the blog, I shared a bunch of summer outfit inspiration. As I mentioned in that post, one of my favorite things to wear in the summer is a good lightweight dress. I found this one at Nordstrom for under $100, and I'm completely obsessed.

I'm totally a birthday and Christmas kind of girl, but when we moved to California a few years ago, we moved to a beach town that is absolutely obsessed with the Fourth of July. I've never really cared much about this holiday, but after living there for four years, I fell in love with it.

I'm a sucker for a good romper, especially as a swim coverup during the summer. It's a really easy piece that you can toss on and look like you made some effort, and I love that they provide a little extra coverage for running around at the pool or the beach.
