Dress made by me (similar under $10 here, tutorial here), Embroidered Sneakers (on sale!), Olive Green Jacket (back in stock!), Michael Kors Bag, Quay Sunglasses

Last week on the blog I shared how to style sneakers with a regular outfit. Today, let’s talk about how to style sneakers with dresses (or skirts). It’s one of my favorite looks, and I even did it for fashion week in NYC last week – you can see the look on my instagram here!

I put together this everyday look with a simple jersey shift dress and these super cute embroidered sneakers. You could swap the shift dress with a casual fit and flare dress, or a midi or even maxi dress.

If your dress is a solid color, try a pair of fun sneakers with embroidery, glitter, or other designs. If your dress is floral or striped or patterned at all, try a solid color sneaker. The tips I shared last week (seen here) absolutely apply here too!

I hear all the time, “I wish I could pull off that look!” But the only person stopping you from pulling it off is you. Just try it!

To paint the small details, I used white food coloring and food coloring gel. Once all the pieces are prepared, I’ve found it’s best to let them dry before putting the rabbit together using water as the “glue.” Meanwhile, you can try the black one like. Emily Cooper Black Jacket
