A couple of weeks ago I threw myself a birthday party. In the last few years, my girlfriends and I have thrown a few girls-only dinner parties, and it’s so fun to have a chance to get together without kids and have a mom’s-night-out.

I just discovered a couple of days ago that we have less than two and a half weeks of summer left, so we’re taking advantage of these last few weekends to spend time as a family and do some fun things.
