What do you do for New Year’s Eve? Here are some fun and super simple traditions that you can do with your kids at home this year.

Need some easy New Years Eve activities??

New Year’s Eve traditions are some of my favorite things to do with my family. All of these traditions are really easy to do with little kids and you don’t even need to go out. They are all perfect for staying at home with your family to celebrate.

7 Easy New Year’s Eve Traditions

1. Get sparklers!

Every kid loves sparklers…and, let’s be honest, so do adults. They’re a super easy and expensive way to make New Years Eve feel fun and special.

2. Make fondue

Fondue is a really fun and easy dinner to throw together. We always do a cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue with a bunch of cut up fruit and bread and other dippers. If you drop your dipper into the fondue, you have to kiss the person to your left…try it!!

3. Try fun drinks

Our favorite drinks to make for New Years Eve are French Sodas. It’s like an Italian soda with the different flavors in sparkling water, but you add ice and half and half. DELISH. Last year, we put cotton candy in the cups and poured sparkling drinks over the top…those were a huge hit with the kids.

4. Do a taste test

We love doing taste tests, and this would be a fun activity for New Years Eve. I wrote about how to do it RIGHT HERE (along with a free printable rating sheet). That one was with ice cream flavors, but you could do it with chocolates, root beer, caramels, cookies, donuts, or whatever you’d like!

5. Put together a photo booth

Every kid loves a photobooth! Hang a sheet on the wall, add some balloons or a banner, and print out some fun props to tape to a popsicle stick. Then have fun taking silly pictures…your kids will spend all night here, probably.

6. Do a movie marathon

If your kids are older, a movie marathon would be a blast. Try Harry Potter, Marvel movies, Star Wars, Toy Story, Jurassic Park, Hunger Games, or whatever you’d like!

7. Let each family member choose a game and then play each one

My kids love choosing the game for our family to play, so this would be a great way for everyone to get a turn choosing, and then everyone can play together. I shared a few of our favorite family games in this post.

What are you doing for New Years Eve this year? I’d love to know!

We have five peopLe in our family. At the top of every hour, Leading up to midnight, we pop a balloon that has a Piece of paper with a game name wRitten on it. Everyone chooses thEir favorite game and we randomLy put one in EaCh balloon. We play the game, while eating favorite fOods we’ve chosen, until the top of the hour, when we Pop the next balloon. This has been our tradition for years, even with teenage boys.

Title insurance is an optional service available to home buyers who are purchasing a property that has a mortgage. It protects the lender against any errors in title (the document recording ownership of real property) that could result in a loss on the loan. Additionally, title insurance new jersey is a type of insurance that protects against risks associated with real estate transactions. For example, if you purchase real estate and sell it within five years, you may need to pay taxes on the profit from your sale.
