These are six fall favorites from my closet that I’ve been wearing over and over during the last month. They’re great fall staples that you might love too.
My favorite parts of October
Happy October! I can’t believe this month is already here. October is one of my favorite months, because the weather starts cooling down, the leaves start changing, and I can start wearing sweaters.
Also I love Halloween and I love planning our annual family Halloween costume (see last year’s costume RIGHT HERE), and our traditional Halloween not-so-spooky dinner.
Some fall favorites from my closet during the last month
Anyway, I’ve picked up a few new things for fall over the last few months and here are six that are constant repeat from my closet.
1. Black Madewell Jeans
These are my favorite black jeans. They’re stretchy, super comfortable, and after tons of washing and wearing they have not faded a bit. I bought them over a year ago!

2. Abercrombie Bodysuit
I’ve been LIVING in this bodysuit all summer and now into fall. It’s a great layering staple, and comes in WHITE, BLACK, and NUDE (so amazing for layering under sheer tops).
The white one is not see through, and the material for all of them is so stretchy and super comfortable.
Here’s a tip about bodysuits: if you feel weird about snapping them underneath, don’t! Just tuck in the tails and you get the bodysuit benefits without the wedgie.
I wear a size small.
3. Amazon baseball cap
I love wearing baseball caps in the summer with t-shirts, and in the fall with sweaters and sweatshirts. I recently bought THIS ONE from Amazonfor under $10 and I’m so impressed!
It’s a good shape, it’s adjustable, and it’s long enough to cover your ears so they don’t stick out underneath it (my least favorite thing ever).
It also comes in like 50 different colors.
4. Red Dress Boutique rust pullover sweater
This is my new favorite sweater! It’s the perfect rust color, it’s so soft and comfortable, and has perfect drape for half tucking.
It’s the one I’m wearing in the picture above, and I’m wearing a size small. It runs true to size, but has a bit of an oversized fit.
5. Old Navy denim jacket
There are a few jackets I wear on repeat during the fall (before it’s cold enough for a coat). A denim jacket, a leather jacket, a suede jacket, and an olive anorak jacket.
This denim jacket is a staple in my closet right now and it’s a perfect layer for over dresses or with black jeans.

6. Good American Jeans
I picked these jeans up at the Nordstrom sale this year, after hearing amazing things about Good American jeans forever. And WHOA, you guys they are good.
They’re specifically amazing for curvy girls, so if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips, you must try this brand. They’re pricey, but I swear they’re worth every penny and will make you look and feel amazing.
They run a little big for me – I’m wearing a size 0, and usually wear a size 26 in jeans.
