The holidays are such a fun time to get dressed because it’s a chance to wear things a little bolder than normal, like this red on red look. Although I love monochromatic looks, I typically gravitate toward more neutral monochrome, with blacks, grays, browns, whites, or blues. But when it’s the holidays, bust out that boldness!
To balance out my very red look, I wore a basic pair of distressed jeans and these sleek and simple boots from BØRN footwear. And of course a little pop of pattern with my animal print clutch. This look would be perfect for a casual holiday party with friends, or just a date night during December.
When it comes to shoes, I rely on finding pairs that work for chasing my kids around the park during the day, but can easily be dressed up for date night with my husband. Ankle boots are probably the easiest shoes to take from day to night and these boots from
BØRN are the perfect pair to do just that because of their sleek and modern style. They’re so well made with premium quality leather and hand construction, go well with anything, and are insanely comfortable so you really can wear them all day long at work or out with your kids and then still wear them to your holiday party that night. What more could you ask for in a pair of shoes??

Thank you, Leila! And gosh, 17 year old boys are tough. What about concert tickets? Or maybe a special day or weekend trip with just you and him (or just his dad and him)?
This is such a pretty and bright outfit! I like your purse and coat very much! 🙂

Where is your coat from I love it!
It’s really old — I think it’s from Shein.com though!
Man I just realized you were selling this coat and I missed it 🙁
