While I’m out on maternity leave, taking care of our sweet little Buck, I have a few amazing bloggers filling in for me to share some of their awesome refashions!
. . . . . . . . . .
Today is Kristina from one of my favorite blogs, Kristina J. She is an unbelievably talented clothing designer and seamstress, as well as a gorgeous mom of three with fabulous style. Some of my favorite of her posts are her “anthropologizing” projects, where she creates or refashions an item of clothing to look like something from Anthropologie. Amazing.
Today she’s sharing a super cool and creative refashion for a simple gray sweatshirt. I’m pretty sure I would be scared to sew a bunch of silk flowers on a shirt, for fear it would look weird, but it is so fabulous! Check it out…
This is a fun idea! I haven't thought of using my die for fabric embellishments.
is it still cute after washing? wouldn't the flowers all be crumpled afterwards? I love the idea but I hesitate because of this question…
Wow! Looks amazing! I don't know if I have the patience to cut all the flowers, but I'm sure going to pin this for future inspiration.
