Ready to go shopping with me? This is my LOFT shopping haul, what I loved, what sizes I purchased, and how I would style each piece.
You won’t want to miss this amazing LOFT shopping haul!
Who’s ready for another Go Shopping with Merrick post? This month I did a LOFT shopping haul and I’m excited to share what I found, and outfit ideas for all these pieces.
Last month I did my first ever Go Shopping with Merrick post. If you missed it, check it out right HERE.
MERRICK’S SIZE REFERENCE:
- Height: 5’6″
- Regular jeans size: 26
- Shirt size: small
Here are my favorites from my LOFT shopping haul
Below you’ll see the pieces I purchased, what size I purchased, and then two outfits for each piece to give you some outfit ideas!
Signature Softblend Sweatpants
- wearing size XS
You guys had raved about these sweatpants, so I had to give them a try. They are insanely soft. My only comment about them is that they are for sure not joggers. They have a great cut that looks like pants, but have very little structure (although they’re not sheer) and feel like pajamas. They are not work or daytime appropriate, in my opinion. They’ll be great for travel and lounging at home though!
HOW I STYLED THESE SWEATPANTS
- If you want the world’s most comfortable travel outfit, pair these sweatpants with THIS LOFT HOODIE and SNEAKERS.
- For lounging at the house, travel, or school pickup, I paired them with SNEAKERS and a TURTLENECK SWEATER.
LOFT Fringe Sweater
- wearing size small
This sweater is so fun for spring and summer. It’s lightweight, has pretty pink and blue details, and is really unique.
HOW I STYLED THIS FRINGE SWEATER
- I love a monochromatic look, so I had to pair this sweater with a pair of WHITE JEANS and TAN ANKLE BOOTS.
- For Spring, this sweater is perfect with DISTRESSED JEANS, NUDE FLATS, and a FELT FEDORA HAT.
Border Floral Tiered Midi Skirt
- wearing size XS
This skirt is so gorgeous, and perfect for all seasons. It’ll be amazing for the Fourth of July, summer BBQs, spring time with sandals, fall with chunky sweaters…so many possibilities.
HOW I STYLED THIS TIERED MIDI SKIRT
- For winter, you can definitely wear midi skirts! I paired this skirt with a CREAM LOFT SWEATER and some TALL BOOTS. You could also layer a dress coat over all of this, of course.
- During the summer, a BODYSUIT and SANDALS make for the perfect simple summer look.
Striped Puff Sleeve Tee
- wearing size small
I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I love this striped puff sleeve top. The sleeves are amazing, the fit is perfect, the fabric is lightweight, and the shirt itself is very versatile.
HERE’S HOW I STYLED THIS PUFFED SLEEVE TOP
- For everyday, THIS PUFFED SLEEVE TOP takes a PAIR OF JEANS to a higher level. Toss on some cute OXFORD SHOES and you’re good to go.
- During the summer, this will make an amazing top paired with a DENIM SKIRT (or any other skirt) and SANDALS.
Long Modern Blazer
- Wearing size 2
Oh, I love this blazer so much. Definitely size down – I’m wearing a size 2 (which is what the size chart recommended) and I need to exchange for a size 0 because it’s too big in the shoulders for me.
HOW I STYLED THIS PINK BLAZER:
- This blazer is amazing for work with BLACK PANTS, a WHITE BODYSUIT, LOAFER MULES, and some COOL STATEMENT EARRINGS.
- I also dressed it down with DISTRESSED JEANS, a GRAPHIC TEE, and some SNEAKERS.
Lou & Grey Signature Softblend Lite Hoodie
- Wearing size small
SO incredibly soft, oversized. I love the tulip hem and it’s the kind of hoodie that will be perfect with jeans, leggings, joggers — everything!
Floral Bobble Sweater
- wearing size small
I really love this sweater. Super cute and versatile, while still being unique and fun. It doesn’t have any lining, FYI, so you’ll need to wear a tank or something underneath so your undergarments don’t show.
Flecked Mock Neck Poncho Sweater
- wearing size XS
When I first put this on, I wasn’t so sure. The body is big and the sleeves are short. I took it off and put it back on a few minutes later and oh my gosh, I loved it.
The neck shape is super flattering, the color is amazing with lots of pinks and blues to make up the oatmeal color, and the fabric is so stretchy and cozy. This would be amazing for travel with leggings, or during the day with jeans and flats!
Striped Hex Textured Sweater
- Wearing size small
This sweater is amazing. It looks like a designer sweater but it’s so affordable! You can tuck this into a skirt because it’s not too heavy, or you can wear it with jeans for a chic spring look.
Eyelet Mixed Media Sweater
- wearing size small
This was my least favorite of the pieces I found. The concept is really cute, and the sweater is very soft. But the sleeves on the eyelet section are too short and wide.
Here’s a quick snapshot of all the pieces I picked

American Eagle/Aerie shopping haul and try on
I bought the stripped puff sleeved top and I love it! I was surprised by the material but really liked it once I tried it on. I’m going to take it with me on my trip to Hawaii next week.
Isn’t it so good?? I love that one!
I like the shop with Merrick series, but this post just cost me $150.ish!
ha good thing I only do them once a month 😉
Spending money on a fashion it is cool for someone, but people can just lose their heads and buy a lot of different staff that are not suitable for them. It is really problem, a lot of money just going nowhere and then people are taking money from suitable service for them like this https://bit.ly/32hmTbT and going to buy new staff after one day of not doing that. I have like 3 friends that were taking money from services, and they will just spend it for maybe 3 hours, and then they will seat and waiting for a miracle to come to them to solve all the problem. Thank you for talking about money in fashion industries, because everyone should know more about finance.
