One of the most requested things in my reader survey last month was for more budget friendly pieces added to the mix. My style is definitely a mix of low end and higher end pieces, but I’m trying to find similar pieces at a lower price point as often as possible.
But I’m also excited to start this new monthly series — Fourteen Favorites Under Fifty where I show some of my favorites that are budget friendly.
I’m loving crisp pinks and blues mixed with more masculine olive green right now. It’s such an interesting combination for spring. I found fourteen great pieces in these colors, all under $50 and some much lower than that.

I recently bought a strap front tee just like this and love it, but it comes too low on me. I hate wearing a tank underneath anything, and I typically won’t buy something that requires a layering piece. Not sure what to do about it. My top is hot pink, and the V comes down to the bottom of my (non) cleavage. I guess I’ll wear a white tank? I don’t know why I’m worried about it today since it’s snowing. I guess I’m dreaming of better weather…
