Remember the dressed up dressed down posts I used to do? I love doing them because it’s totally real life. I spend all day in a basic outfit, and then make a few changes to go out for family date night, or date night with my husband, or girls night with my friends. Just a couple of quick changes and the outfit becomes totally evening appropriate.

I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share a dressed up dressed down idea for this basic ruffle tee from Nordstrom and my favorite jeans from BlankNYC. I’ve been living in these jeans, as you guys know — they were my favorite purchase from the Nordstrom sale and now they’re fully back in stock!

For daytime, sneaks, a big bag, and a ponytail make for an easy momiform. For evening, swap bags for a small bag just big enough to carry your credit card, phone, and a lipgloss. Then add some chunky heels (always my go-to cause we usually like to walk around after dinner), and a jacket for when the sun goes down. Easy peasy.
