Time for this week’s dinner ideas! I had a super busy week with work, so the menu was a little light this week but still full of great recipes!
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
Time for this week’s dinner ideas! I was in downtown Dallas for a work conference this week so our menu is a little more simple than normal, but still filled with great ideas!
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
Monday: Leftovers
Tuesday: At Work Conference
Wednesday: At Work Conference
Thursday: Short Rib Ragu
Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza
Saturday: Cinnamon and Raspberry Rolls
Sunday: Steak Street Tacos
Short Rib Ragu
I made this a few months ago and it made a lot of sauce, so I threw it in a gallon freezer bag and threw it in the freezer. I had a busy week of work and personal commitments, so I pulled this out of the freezer, defrosted and re-heated it, and served it over noodles. Super easy, healthy, and hearty dinner, done in fifteen mins.
BBQ Chicken Pizza
We’ve been eating this pizza almost every week for like two years and it never gets old. It’s so delicious, especially with Mel’s Kitchen Cafe’s pizza dough. I put grilled chicken, fiesta blend cheese, fresh jalapeños, frozen corn, and sweet baby ray’s BBQ sauce on it, and then we top it with crispy onions and BBQ sauce after it’s cooked. So tasty!
Cinnamon and Raspberry Rolls
This weekend is our church’s semi-annual general conference and it’s tradition to make cinnamon rolls. I have been making half raspberry and half cinnamon for the last few years and it’s delicious. I use this cinnamon roll recipe for the dough and the cinnamon roll part and then use the filling of this recipe to make the raspberry roll part. We top with thick buttercream frosting (homemade of course), and they’re THE BEST.
Steak Street Tacos
We all love tacos, and I have some frozen steaks in the freezer waiting to be used, so steak street tacos are a good choice for Sunday dinner. Of course we’ll make homemade tortillas and guacamole too!
