An athletic skort has become a closet staple for me. It’s moisture wicking, comfortable, easy to wear, and great for mom life. You can even dress it up and down! Here are four great ways to wear it. 

An athletic skort has become a summer staple for me. It’s super lightweight and comfortable, similar in comfort level to biker shorts but nicer and more feminine, and can be worn in lots of ways.

I bought this one a few weeks ago and when I shared, you guys went wild for it and a ton of you bought it. So now you’re asking for ways to wear it, so here are a few ideas!

How to Wear an Athletic Skirt 

Try your athletic skort with a striped tee

You can wear this kind of skort with a basic colored tee, but a striped tee adds a little more interest to a basic outfit. Throw on a pair of leather sandals that are a little nicer than your basic flip flop, and you’re set for an everyday outfit.

Try a graphic tee with your athletic skort

Just like the striped tee, a graphic tee is a little more interesting than a basic tee. I paired with my favorite summer sandals that you can wear to the waterpark or the pool or the amusement park because they’re comfy, waterproof, easy to throw in the washing machine to clean, and easy to keep on because of the backstrap.

An athletic skort works with a bodysuit or fitted tee

Both of the first outfits I showed you have a more boxy tee, but you can absolutely wear them with a fitted tee! I didn’t want my outfit to look like a golf outfit, especially with sneakers, so I chose a fitted tee with an open neckline and a less neutral color, and I chose non-athletic sneakers. I think it works!

Try dressing up your athletic skort a bit

This is a casual skirt, but you can still dress it up a little! I chose a linen button up shirt and some heeled sandals for a little elevation. I also paired with some dressy earrings to add to the elevation. I’m actually pleasantly surprised as to how this outfit came together and works!
