With my birthday this weekend, I’ve rounded up a few things that I’ve been wishing for. Even if I don’t give him a list, Philip always does a great job (he’s probably one of the few men that doesn’t need a guide to gift buying), but these are a few things I’ve asked for or will gift to myself 🙂
1. In my first Babble post, I wrote about five summer essentials, one of which was a white dress. I linked to this Asos one and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I also love this one.
2: I ran out of my old perfume recently and have been since been hunting for a new one that I love. Over the weekend in Palm Springs, Philip and I tried out a ton and I fell in love with this one.
3+4. Leanne and Melissa about fell out of their chairs during fabric weekend when I told them I still used scissors to cut out all my projects. It’s time to come out of the dark ages and start using a mat and rotary cutter. They’re high on my list!
5. There is a hole in my closet that needs to be filled with a neon belt. That’s all.
6. I have been hunting for a nice, short sleeve, flowy white blouse for a while, and although I like this one, I don’t like the price tag. Anyone seen anything similar at a lower price point?
7. I’ve been wanting a dress form for a while now because trying on my projects a million times (a.k.a. sewing in my underwear) is getting old. I’m pretty sure having a dress form will change my life 🙂

I love the grey statement necklace! I've been looking for a neutral statement piece, but usually end up choosing bright colors and jewel tones because they better complement my skin tone. This grey is a great alternative to some of the beige and light pink necklaces I've seen.

I can relate to gift #7. I spend a lot of time sewing in my underwear, which is unfortunate when I sit on a pin.
Happy early birthday! Great gift list – I can't sew to save my life but I'd love to have a dress form just as an accent piece in my office! As far as flowly white blouses, I've got an option for you: this Mossimo shirt from Target (http://m.target.com/p/mossimo-women-s-short-sleeve-tee-w-front-zipper-assorted-colors/-/A-14424542). You could easily get away with an xs in the Mossimo shirt.

Happy Birthday! I recently decided I needed a neon belt too, and it has changed my life! I feel so fun when I wear it! I've had a flowy white shirt for a few years now that has always been one of my favorites, but it recently got one of those tiny holds near the waist from your seatbelt rubbing in the car 🙁 So, I'm also on the hunt, let us know if you find a good one!

You've got good taste girl! I pretty much want all those things. I am going to go ahead and pin everything. I have had my eye out for a dress form too and I am trying to find one that is a good price and good quality. I have read a ton of reviews and haven't been able to find a good one yet. Neon belts are fun! I got one before they really became huge and have worn it a few times. It looks amazing over black!
