It’s always fun to give one BIG gift instead of a few small gifts. Here are some great big gift ideas for women.
Big gifts for women are fun because it always adds to the holiday magic to give a big, surprising gift. In my family, we like to switch it up year to year and occasionally give one BIG gift instead of a lot of little ones. Here’s a great list for women.
Big Gifts for Women:
- A SOLO HOTEL STAY
- Every mom wishes for a trip by themselves! Book a hotel in your city or somewhere fairly close and send her away for a day or two just to relax and recharge and do whatever she wants for 24 or 48 hours
- A NICE CAMERA
- Although we all have nice cameras on our phones, she might love a really nice DSLR camera to take pictures when you travel, or take pictures of the kids.
- A PLANNED AND PAID FOR TRIP
- Surprise her with a trip with or without kids, planned and paid for and ready to go. Do a staycation, do a weekend getaway, go somewhere warm during the holidays, go somewhere on your bucket list…it doesn’t matter! Just go anywhere and have it all planned out.
- SEASON TICKETS TO A LOCAL SPORTS TEAM
- If she’s a sports fan, get her season tickets to your local sports team! Or buy tickets for her favorite team in another state and plane tickets to go with friends or with the family.
- A NEW PET
- obviously think this one through before a new pet shows up under the tree, but how magical would it be for a new puppy or kitten to come for Christmas??
- PASSES TO A LOCAL PLACE
- The theater, a museum, ski passes or lift tickets…look at your local places and get a fun pass that you can use all year.
- CONCERT TICKETS
- Does she love concerts? Find out when her favorite band or musician is playing and get her tickets and stick them under the tree in an envelope!
- A SPECIAL PIECE OF JEWELRY
- Get that diamond necklace, or a special ring to add on to her wedding band set, or a nice bracelet. Something she wouldn’t buy for herself.
- BIKES
- This is a great gift for the whole family! There are lots of bikes you can buy online, but bikes from a local bike shop are typically better quality. So check those out, and support your local shops.

- This is Philip’s favorite thing to give me. He’s purchased basically all my designer shoes as big gifts for holidays…Manolo Blahnik heels, Golden Goose Sneakers, designer handbags…I don’t spend that kind of money on myself, but I love them items so it’s fun for him to splurge on me for the holidays.
- A TRIP TO DISNEY.
- Everyone loves Disneyland or Disney World! Plan a trip with her friends or with your family. Or do a different amusement park and send her for girls day.
- A YEAR LONG SUBSCRIPTION TO AUDIBLE
- If you have an audiobook lover, this would be a great gift for the holidays. A year long subscription can be a little pricey, so this bigger gift would be great for her.
- SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM MACHINE.
- Who wouldn’t want soft serve ice cream whenever you’d like?? This is such a fun gift idea!
- CINEMOOD PROJECTOR
