A Basic Everyday Kind of Outfit

Last night Philip and I returned home from a week in Europe! If you followed along on Instagram, you saw that Philip surprised me on my birthday, gave me a packing list, a weather guide, and a Euro, and told me we were leaving the next day. Ahh!

We had an incredible week and the surprises just kept coming. I’ll be sharing all about where we went, what we did, and how I packed very soon, so watch for that!

But today I want to share this really easy everyday outfit that’s perfect for weekends, or makes a great Momiform. I’m all about a good jeans and tee look, and there are always a few ways to complete the outfit.

One, add a pair of fun sneakers. I love these pink suede cap toe ones that are on sale through the rest of the week. They’re really comfortable, fit true to size, and are neutral enough that you could wear them with anything – even dresses or skirts!

Two, add a layer. If it’s too hot in your location, skip this one. But adding a layer, even around your waist, is a great way to add some more interest to a really basic outfit. An olive anorak jacket is one of my favorites. I bought mine over a year ago so it’s not available anymore, but this one is similar and on sale.

And three, accessories. I’m all about delicate gold jewelry right now, and they instantly elevate an outfit. This simple layered choker is one of my favorites for daily wear. I usually pair it with a longer chain, like this horseshoe necklace, or this initial necklace. I also love a few gold stackable rings – these ones are my favorite. Toss a few accessories on, and your outfit is complete!
