Here are the top pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I’m so excited to wear, and have already started planning outfits. These are the finds that will make it into my regular outfit rotation this fall.
Every year during the Nordstrom Sale, there are a handful of pieces that instantly make me want to start styling outfits. These aren’t just “good deals,” they’re the pieces I’m actually excited about wearing, mixing into my closet, and building around for fall.
Whether it’s a great pair of jeans, a fun sweater, or a layering piece with tons of potential, I’m breaking down the items I grabbed during the Nordstrom sale, and showing you some ideas of how I’ll be wearing them in the fall. 1. Mother Jeans. These were my favorite jeans that we tried on in store. Mother jeans are known for being super soft and stretchy and comfortable, and these didn’t disappoint. They’re a splurge, but they’re a jean that won’t go out of style EVER, and the length and wide leg style makes them easy to dress up, but the light wash makes them feel a little more casual, so they’re great for any occasion. I got my true size 26, and I recommend you do too. You can see them on three body types RIGHT HERE.

Sam Edelman Boots. I have a pair of boots very similar to this in a black patent leather, but when I tried on the chocolate brown suede, I immediately fell in love with them. They’re the perfect brown boot for fall and winter that you can wear under jeans, or wear with skirts and dresses. These came home with me. You can see how they fit heights 5’3″ to 5’11” RIGHT HERE (Kristy didn’t wear these with us cause the store didn’t carry wide calf boots, but she loved the look).

Pleated statement skirt. This skirt was on my wishlist, but it was an immediate YES when I put it on (that wasn’t the case with everything on my wishlist)! The fabric, colors, and fit are all tremendous. It runs big – I tried it on in store in an XS and ended up ordering an XXS online and that fits perfectly. You can see me wearing it HERE.

Halogen Double Breasted Jacket. I didn’t even see this online, but one of my team members found it in store and I fell in love with it the moment I put it on. It’s so stunning and classic and classy. I got an XS for me and I cannot wait to wear it in the fall and winter.
