4 Chelsea Boot Outfits for Fall

Chelsea boots are hands down my go-to shoe during the fall. I have my favorite pair from Nordstrom that I’m always reaching for. If you’re trying to figure out how to wear them, here are 4 easy Chelsea boots outfits for fall. 

Did you grab THE Chelsea Boots from Nordstrom this summer? I bought these boots a year and a half ago and they are by far my most worn fall and winter shoes. They’re crazy comfy (they take a few wears to soften up and wear in, so just be aware they’re a bit stiff at first) and they’re a great flattering shape that looks great on everyone.

Nordstrom has amazing high quality basics, and they’re my go-to for a lot of classic pieces in my closet. Since these boots have absolutely become a staple in my closet, and lots of you have picked them up over the last year and a half, I wanted to show you some ways to wear them.

Wear your Chelsea Boots with fall dresses

I get asked all the time if you can wear these boots with dresses, and the answer is YES! Since they are more fitted at the ankle and have a shorter shaft, they work great with dresses and don’t give you that blocky/shortened leg line that some boots do.

Also since this dress is lighter and the boots are dark, I added a leather jacket just to balance the outfit.

Try them with a different style of dress

I love a good sweater dress, and the Chelsea boots absolutely work with this style of dress as well.

I added a pair of gray socks to break up the stark line between the boots and my legs, but that’s not necessary.

I also didn’t add a jacket or another layer because I didn’t feel that the dark shade of dress needed it, but you could absolutely add it if you wanted!
