11 Current Favorite Beauty Products and Tools

11 favorite beauty products that I'm loving right now

I’m constantly buying and trying new beauty products and tools, and these are my top eleven favorites right now that I highly recommend!

1. PMD Tool

This is a personal dermabrasion tool that you can use at home, and it’s really effective for improving skin tone, fine lines, and pore size. I use it once a week and have definitely noticed an improvement in the smoothness of my skin. You can learn more about it HERE, and shop for one HERE.

2. Retinol

My esthetician recommended I start using retinol once or twice a week on my skin, so I bought THIS RETINOL from Skinceuticals. Start with a very small dosage, like 0.3, since it takes a while for your skin to get used to it and it can be much too harsh if you’re using a more concentrated formula. After using it for about a year, I’ve move up to Retinol 1.0 and I use it once a week.

It’s amazing for fine lines, dark spots, discoloration, acne — everything!

3. Olay Eye Cream

I did a sponsored post with Olay a few months ago to try out and review their BRIGHTENING EYE CREAM and have LOVED this eye cream. I’ve seen major improvement in the fine lines around my eyes after about a month of use, and it has brightening properties that make your eyes appear brighter as soon as you put it on. I definitely recommend!

4. Isle of Paradise Drops

These are little all-natural SELF TANNING DROPS that go on clear and then eventually add some color to your face. You just need to mix 1-3 drops in your moisturizer, and apply a thin layer over your entire face. The next morning you’ll wake up with a healthy glow, I promise!!

I use 2 drops in my moisturizer every morning, and I use the “dark” color.

5. St. Tropez Foaming Self Tanner

I’ve talked about THIS SELF TANNER so much over the past few years, but it truly continues to be my very favorite tanning product I’ve ever used. I use the mitt and the foam, and it goes on smoothly and perfectly every time. I tried the dark color this time, but honestly the formula is so concentrated that it’s harder to apply without streaks. So I’d definitely recommend the “Classic” color.

6. Navy Hair Care Texture Spray

I’ve been working with Navy Hair Care this past year and have loved trying out a bunch of their new products. Their TEXTURE SPRAY has been one of my all time favorites. It smells amazing, gives your hair texture to hold curl, or texture for a little extra body, and you can get 30% with code MERRICK!

7. Suave Dry Shampoo

My SUAVE DRY SHAMPOO is another product I’ve raved about for years. They keep changing the packaging, and maybe even the formula a little bit, but I still love it even through all the changes. I use a lot of dry shampoo since I only wash my hair once a week, so I love that this is under $5 so I can buy and use a lot without spending all my money.

Although, I have been testing DOVE’S DRY SHAMPOO for the last few months and I really love that too! And it’s under $5 too!!

8. Derma Roller

Last year I tried 4 microneedling treatments. I honestly didn’t see hardly any results (besides the first few days after healing, but then after that I felt like everything went back to how it was previously), so I decided to try derma rolling at home.

I use this DERMA ROLLER once a week and have actually seen great results from doing the treatment this often! I just have to stay consistent and use good, strong facial products right after the treatment when all the needle holes are open and your skin can absorb the product really well.

I started with the 0.25 roller and after a few months of use I moved to the 0.5.

I also bought myself a bunch of isopropyl alcohol so I can clean it really well before and after use, and because of that I haven’t had any issues.

9. Tula Recovery Face Mask

If I could recommend one mask to use for the rest of your life, it would be THIS RECOVERY MASK FROM TULA. It is gentle but super effective, and my skin always feels and looks brighter, softer, more radiant, and more hydrated after using this mask.

You can use code MERRICK for 20% off anything on their site!

10. Avon Eyelash Growth Serum

A few years ago I purchased Neulash Eyelash Serum and used that for almost a year. The results were amazing, and I loved how long and thick my eyelashes became. The only downside was that it was super pricey.

Last year I did a sponsored campaign with Avon to try out their ANEW Clinical Unlimited Lashes Serum, and I ended up loving it! The results were basically the same as Neulash, but the price is so much more affordable — this one is currently on sale for under $40!

11. Dr. George’s Teeth Whitening Gel

I’ve been annoyed by my slightly yellowing teeth over the last few years, and then I heard about this TEETH WHITENING GEL from Dr. George’s. I bought it on Amazon and it used it with my custom flouride trays I got from my dentist, and after about three times using it I began to see results.

My favorite part about it is that it doesn’t bother my very sensitive teeth. I used it every other night and even wore it for a couple of hours one day, and it didn’t even burn. Highly recommend!!

Ive Read that it can be dicey to use retinol and dermaroll (supposedly its an either/or thing). Have you had any issues doing both?

Great recommendations! Many of those items are favorites of mine already 🙂 The self tanning drops are sold out but I’m on the waitlist for when they return! So glad they are clean, too. Thanks for the tips.
