DIY

A few months ago I started watching House MD. I quickly got obsessed and sucked in, and ended up watching Season One (all 25 episodes) in like one week. Awesome, yes. Pathetic, maybe.

As I got a few episodes in, I started noticing Dr. Cuddy and her awesome clothes. There was one shirt that I particularly liked, and I suddenly became determined to have that t-shirt (and of course it was an embellished t-shirt, cause what else do I talk about non-stop these days?)

After thinking about it for a few days, I sent Janssen this screen shot and told her that she loved House, I loved House, and therefore we must love and make this shirt together.

So I did.

  • I, too, love House and Cuddy’s style. Great shirt! You’re very talented!

  • I don’t watch House, because I never get to watch anything except news (but now that I can record it on my DVR, I may give it a try), and I am afraid of Hugh Laurie being scary because I kind of have a thing for him.. That aside, I love the shirt! How did you do it?

  • Very nicely done. You can make me one ๐Ÿ™‚

  • You are so talented. Adorable!

  • It turned out cute!

  • Very nice, MB. My favorite part of your sidebar pictures is the no-smile look. Like a model with attitude. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Very nicely done!

We love House too. So awesome.

  • You are so creative and talented! I love how you see something you like, so you make it. With no instructions or anything! How do you do that?!

  • Not only is the shirt VERY cute, but your hair is getting amazingly long.

  • Cute! I agree that her wardrobe is awesome. That is our night show and I always notice her clothes and the other girl’s hair.

  • Yes! I did get my gray carti from the junior section. I love that place! And who doesn’t need a puff sleeve gray carti?

Question for you, my friend. How did you make those fabulous shirts? And can you machine wash them?

  • I agree. I would love to know how you made that cute shirt. Any chance you’ll post instructions?

  • I also love the shirt, but that’s not why I’m writing. I just got your comment about finding beads. Sorry I didn’t get back to you in time. I hope you were able to find everything you needed… For future reference, there is a bead shop in the University Mall that’s pretty good. I’ve gone there a couple times when I have run out of something and didn’t have time to order it. A good website is firemountaingems.com You can order a free million page catalog that will overwhelm and awe you. ๐Ÿ™‚
