Although I’m sure you just LOVE seeing all my paintings of nude models, I’ve decided to add another little thing into the mix of art-related blog posts. I’m calling it, “What’s On My Easel?”
I am almost constantly working on personal projects at home that are completely unrelated to my class work and, much to the happiness of many of you, NOT of nude women. But somehow these paintings get neglected on the blog because they’re always sitting there and I forget to take photos of them. Well, that will no longer be the case.
So, without further ado, I present to you Week One of “What’s On My Easel?”:
This is a commission piece that I just started yesterday. I’m really excited about this painting, especially because of the big floppy leather hats that both boys are wearing. I’m hoping to have this completed in one week (5-6 painting days), but if it’s not completed by next week, you’ll see it again on “WOME.” Let’s pray that you don’t.
Also, I have to say, I’m not usually a fan of my work until it’s completely finished, so this is a challenge to post unfinished work for the world to see. But it’s good motivation to finish quickly so you don’t have to see bad half-finished paintings!
成功是一把梯子,雙手插在口袋裡是爬不上去的。........................................
Can't wait to see the finished product. This is cute already.
I can't believe how much it looks like the boys already. I love it.
