This week has been exhausting. And it’s barely half way over.
I started working on a quiet book for Peanut about six months ago, and then after working on it for about 2 days, I put it away and promptly forgot about it. Then a few weeks ago I brought it back out and started working on it here and there. With both sets of grandparents in town this weekend, we’re having a little family birthday celebration for Peanut, and Philip made me promise to finish it in time for that. So for the last three days my kitchen island has looked like this as I’ve scrambled to finish this thing. I’m almost done.
Then I decided I would take a few “One Year” pictures of Peanut….by myself. By the end of half an hour, I was sweating, Peanut was covered in grass stains, and most of my pictures looked like this:
But on the bright side, Fabric.com had a one day sale yesterday and I bought some fabric to make a fun little skirt like this one:
Must look at Fabric.com. . .
Haha that's exactly what a lot of my photos of Addie looked like- her running away! Even with Jacob there trying to corral her it was rough. I did get a few good shots though…I hope. 🙂 I can't wait to see your quiet book!
Love the picture of Peanut and the picture of the sewing machine on the eating table. So normal. Yes, we would like to see pictures of the book and of the birthday party. Enjoy your visitors.
