Gosh, there are so many good trends for spring, all of which I’m dying to add to my closet and/or DIY. Three of my absolute favorites are fringe, chartreuse, and kimonos.
But trying out new trends can sometimes get expensive, so Nordstrom’s junior section is one of my secrets to getting great trends without spending a lot. BP, Savvy, Topshop, and ASTR all have good quality and super on-trend pieces, but don’t break the bank. And most of their pieces have women sizing so you don’t have to be junior size to wear them.
I picked up a few new things for spring from some of these brands and can’t wait to wear them all spring long. This fringe shoulder bag from BP is under $30, and is the perfect accessory to add some texture to your outfit. I’m also loving fringe on shoes (like my ankle boots), shirts, skirts, and dresses. You can bet you’ll see some fringe DIY’s coming to the blog soon! Chartreuse is the most spring-y color you could possibly wear and looks good on everyone, so of course this chartreuse pencil skirt from ASTR instantly caught my eye when I spotted it in the store a few weeks ago. And as for kimonos…well, I just can’t get enough. They are the perfect flowy, lightweight top you can wear with shorts and a tee shirt, over a swimsuit, or even with a pencil dress. I’ve added a couple to my closet already and plan to add a few more because they’re just so comfortable and versatile. I’m obsessed with the embroidery detail on this one from ASTR.
So pick up one or more of these trends and rock them with me this spring! And find more of my favorites from these brands by scrolling through the widget below — everything is under $100!

Looking fantastic in both of these outfits! Love how you’ve styled them.

Side note: do you think it’s too much fringe if your wear it on your booties and handbag? (I have these same SM booties in black & I wear them constantly and would love a fringe purse but don’t know that they’d look ok together…)
These looks are great and make me super excited for spring! I really love that neon skirt.

Loving your skirt – such a pretty color. I wish I could rock that hue with my fair skin, but doesn’t always pair so well. I’ll just admire your look from afar. So pretty! 🙂

So pretty! Makes me long for spring. I just got two adorable kimonos at Target! One is navy floral and the other a cream floral. They are so pretty! And a black/white printed coverup with pompom trim that reminded me of that adorable one you made. I am looking forward to wearing them over bathing suits on a cruise this weekend!
