When we lived in Utah, March and April were my least favorite months. After a long winter you’re itching for spring and get tricked with a warm, sunny day, and then the next day mother nature dumps a foot of snow on the ground. I’m sure you’re all familiar with it…it’s the worst.

Admittedly, there are no winter blues to be found here in sunny SoCal, but for those of you still dealing with snow and freezing temperatures, Shannon and I are here to help you out with The Fur Cure for Winter Blues. Because wearing a fake animal on your back makes everything better, am I right?

If you guys aren’t familiar with Shannon, she’s the beautiful and hilarious blonde behind GBO Fashion, and today we’re teaming up to talk Fur (obviously).

I’ve mentioned it before, but I had a hard time with the fur trend at first. A lot of faux fur looks so fake, or seems so over the top gaudy. But once I found a good neutral faux fur vest, I was sold. Throw it on over a springy dress, a flowy blouse, a chambray top, or a graphic tee, and your outfit is instantly amped up. It’s the perfect statement piece for those bi-polar spring months, and is sure to cure all your winter blues.
Now hop on over to GBO Fashion for more fabulous fur!

  5. You know what's funny? It's been in the 50/60s the past few days in Provo and yesterday morning, it snowed. Go figure.
