Since my current project, the family portrait, is only a pencil sketch, I figured I’d post pictures of the portrait that I just finished. Peter Evans commissioned me to do it as a Christmas present for his wife, Linda. This is Linda’s mother, a picture of her in a vineyard or garden of some type.

To tell you the truth, this was the most challenging portrait I’ve ever done. Those dang leaves were So incredibly hard and took me months and months of green. I think from now on my nightmares will be being forced to draw leaves. Ok, not really, but it was really a challenge for me. But I did it! And I’m proud of myself.
