leather jacket: forever 21, mustard cardigan: cozy, purple top: gap, jeans: abercrombie, boots: target
For the most part, I feel pretty confident about everything I wear. I try not to wear things that are too crazy, just so I don’t feel uncomfortable or self conscious all day….but when I put this outfit on, I wasn’t sure about one little thing….
Head on over to Ask The Duplex today and see what I’m feeling a bit weird about.

By the way, our Valentine’s Day was fantastic. Dinner was amazing, dessert turned out perfectly, I got a gorgeous bouquet of roses, and I loved my outfit. The top I wore was a refashion from Goodwill — I’ll show you it, with a tutorial, tomorrow!
Totally not biker chic AT ALL! The leathers aren't match-matchy, and the warm color makes the combo lean much more bohemian and relaxed. Plus, the classic shape of the riding boot keeps everything kind of preppy. Love them together! Especially with pretty bright colors…
I wore a very similar look with the faux leather jacket + same color boots last week. I don't think it says biker at all! (And I should know, my hubby rides a Harley!)
Glad you had a nice Valentine's Day date 🙂

I like it. Totally hot Mom!
Love leather and leather! And is the shirt you refashioned the one you got when we went together? I can't WAIT to see what you did with it!
I love the royal blue and yellow together. Such a great pop of color for winter! Hope you had a great heart day. =)

You'd only look like a biker chick if you wore crazy loud makeup and had chains and hardware on your jacket and boots. I love a leather jacket with leather boots, and your soft hair and makeup, sweet demeanor, and bright colors could never make you look like a biker chick!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this look. That jacket is amazing 🙂
You always look great! Btw, the "duplex" girls are from my old BYU singles ward. So funny.
You already know how I feel about that jacket so keep on wearing it, with boots or no boots!
