It's been so fun to work on our house over the last few months (Before and after we moved). Philip and I both love to decorate, and although it's hard for me to make a lot of decorating and design decisions at once, we've had such a blast and have tried to pace ourselves so we make choices that we're really happy with.

Have I told the story of how Philip and I met? I don’t think I have, and today we are celebrating our ten year anniversary -- TEN YEARS! -- so it only seems appropriate.

Merry Christmas! I hope you all had an amazing day yesterday. My boys were a little unsure about Christmas on a Sunday and having to leave unopened presents under the tree while we went to church. But worshipping our Savior at church on Christmas day set the tone for a perfect day, and they got their fill of gifts after we got home from church ;)

When we moved to California from Utah, one thing I really missed was how the cold and snow helped it feel like Christmas. I love, love living by the beach and developing new warm weather Christmas traditions, but I still need some traditions to get me in the Christmas spirit.
