I think a task a lot of women dislike and dread is bra shopping. It’s one of those things we all have to do, but none of us really love. I stopped nursing my baby last month, and was in desperate need of new bras since my chest size decreased drastically in a matter of days, so Kohl’s sent me shopping to find a few new bras.

A lot of women have the need for different bras for different occasions — ones that allow for strapless, halter, backless, sleeveless, and other tops, and Kohl’s has tons of great options like this one, this one, and this one. There are a few more good options at the bottom of this post as well!

But I was in need of a few that worked full time for me — taking me from a day with my boys to an evening with my husband. I don’t wear strapless, backless, or even sleeveless tops, so I would rather have one bra that works for all occasions — t-shirts and cocktail dresses — that is comfortable, pretty, and makes me feel good. Also I didn’t want to spend a fortune, especially because my cup size changes drastically as I get pregnant, nurse, and then stop nursing.

I used their super easy Bra Fitting Guide, where you just enter two measurements and then it gives you your correct bra size, and then tried a bunch on in the store and happily I found three that fit me perfectly, and matched all my criteria. I’ll be rotating through these three, and wearing each of them for all occasions!

You look great, but you do realize you have your chest covered in every single picture on a post that's about the bra you're wearing under those clothes? Hard to assess if it looks like it has a smooth/line-free fit if you can't see it… Although I realize how creepy it is to post that we should see your chest – ha!

    • The point of the post was to show the different outfits and occasions where I can wear the same bra, rather than showing the bra fitting itself since I'd rather not get undressed up in here 😉 Hopefully it helps women find their one well-fitting bra that works for every occasion!

  5. That's not a bad price for two great fitting bras! Usually you get 1 from target at almost that price. Thanks for the tip.

That dress looks phenomenal on you!! I'm in need of new bras as they're a few years old. ugh. I haven't heard of the store Kohl's before, I'll have to see if there's one around me (Newbie American lol)

    hot mom alert!!!!!!

    🙂

  8. I hate bra shopping because Nordstrom is the only store that carries bras in my size but even then, they're usually just black or nude since I'm such an uncommon size. I just ordered a bunch from Nordstrom online to try on at my house because my recent trip to their store came up empty-handed since they didn't have a single colored bra in my size. I'm jealous that you can buy yours from places like Kohl's. The three you picked look lovely and I'm glad you were able to find what you were looking for!
