There is something so nice about celebrating mothers for a day. It’s a chance for me to remember my wonderful mom, my mother-in-law, my sister, my sister-in-law (both of whom are mothers), and all the other women in my life that I never called “mom,” but influenced me and nurtured me in some way.
But mostly I’m glad to be a mom to my sweet Peanut. In just one year, he has taught me patience, love, and joy like I never imagined possible.
