A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to team up with a fantastic company called Golden Tote. I featured one of their totes on the blog earlier this year, and was completely in love with their personalized shopper meets subscription box idea, so I was thrilled when they asked me to team up again for an even bigger and better collaboration!

Golden Tote is the perfect solution for women who don’t have time to shop, don’t know where to shop, or just don’t know what to buy. All you do is create a style profile, choose either the $49 tote (2-3 clothing items) or the $149 tote (5-7 clothing items), then choose 1-2 items from their online boutique that you want in your tote, and leave the rest to Golden Tote! They take your profile and curate a tote just for you.

So I teamed up with the gorgeous Sarah’s behind Golden Tote to bring you Merrick’s Art for Golden Tote! I spent a day in LA with them, shopping and curating their August tote, AND designing a few pieces. It’s a total dream come true for me to see my designs in production, and I’m so excited to share them with you and have them for sale this coming Monday! Make sure you’re signed up for their email list so you get the newsletter and notifications when the August tote is available!

**And a little spoiler — my popular swing dress is among the items for sale, so don’t miss it! Sign up right HERE!**

A big thank you to Golden Tote for sponsoring this post.

    So exciting! Congratulations, Merrick!!!
I really want to sign up but I’m worried about getting immodest clothing. What’s your experience with it? I may just sign up anyway to get that gorgeous swing dress!!! 🙂

    • Merrick says:

When you fill out your style profile there is a spot where you can put specifications, and just put that you don’t want anything sleeveless, and only knee length or longer (or whatever). They’re really good about finding pieces that work for you!

Ok I wanted that swing dress. How can I buy just that?!?

Thank you! And you should for sure try them out — they’re awesome! I loved my tote when I tried it out a few months ago — so many fun and great pieces!

    Nice tote bag !

  16. Melissa Fowler says:

Is the skirt part of the tote ;)?? I am absolutely in love!!!!

  17. Hanna says:

I saw your swing dress on the golden tote website as part of the collab, and I’m so excited for it! But it looked way shorter than the one that you posted in your tutorial? 🙁 Is it shorter or is it just the pick? (I need it at least knee-length and I’m 5’7)

    • Merrick says:

Hi Hanna! I’m 5’6″ and wearing the size small. It’s actually only about an inch shorter than my original one (they made the pattern from my green one), so you should be good! They get longer by about 1/2″ as you go up in size, so maybe order the large if you need an extra inch! Hope that helps!

  18. UtahGirlAmI says:

Oh, I love your blue purse! Where did you get it?

    • Merrick says:

      It’s from forever21 🙂

      • UtahGirlAmI says:

Ah, I thought so! I’m debating whether I should get an actual Cambridge Satchel orrrr just go with the F21 version. Has it held up well so far? Thank you! 🙂

      • Merrick says:

It’s held up pretty well, but it definitely won’t last til next summer… but maybe cobalt will be out by then and I won’t want to wear it anyway 😉
