It’s not very often that Philip gets a day off from work, so when Memorial Day rolls around and he is home, it’s a happy day for everyone and certainly called for an adventure.
Our adventures took us up to Lehi, Utah where we found the road that goes all the way around Utah Lake. We spent the next hour and a half driving past huge beautiful lake houses, fields and fields of sheep, and (for some bizarre reason) approximately six thousand motor homes. The lake was beautiful, the sun was shining, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
After about an hour of driving, we arrived in Goshen, Utah (population 1000), and stopped at the park for a picnic and a little fun on the playground. And to chomp on Peanut’s squishable cheeks.
Happy Memorial Day…hope yours was as wonderful as ours.
I'm not sure this baby knows he's loved. . .and I think he needs more food.
🙂
Sounds fun. I've never been to the other side of Utah Lake. Proud of you for making the journey!
