Looking for a great kids birthday gift? This is a really simple birthday gift that every kids loves!

Need a great kids birthday gift idea?

If you’re struggling with kids birthday gift ideas for your kids’ friends, I’ve got a perfect and easy gift idea for you.

As my kids get older, they’re invited to more and more birthday parties. Often it’s for kids in their classes at school who I don’t know, or don’t know well.

So I have literally no idea what to give these kids as a gift (and honestly I can’t and don’t want to spend a fortune considering the number of birthday parties they get invited to by school friends).

A couple of years ago I had a really simple idea that we have used for the last few years, and it’s been a huge hit among every kid we’ve given it to.

Here’s what we include in this super simple kids birthday gift:

  1. King size candy bar
  2. Birthday card
  3. Cash

We do different amounts of cash based on the age of the kid — sometimes $5, sometimes $20. You can do whatever you feel comfortable with!

I created a bin so we have these things on hand at all times

With the number of birthday parties for classmates between three kids, I felt like I was constantly running to the store to get cards and candy bars.

So I created a bin of these birthday items so I have them on hand whenever we get a party invitation.

I bought THIS PACK OF BIRTHDAY CARDS, and ordered a bunch of king size candy bars with my Walmart grocery order one week, and then went to the bank and got some small bills to put in the bin.

Now whenever we get the invite, the boys are able to fill out a card, choose a candy bar, and put some money in the card.

Every time they show up with this birthday gift, it’s a huge win — every kid loves candy and money.

Seriously, give it a try for your next kids birthday party invite!
