I hosted an ice cream taste testing party
At our family reunion a few weeks ago, I was in charge of a family activity. I hosted an ice cream taste test, and it was such a blast. It was an easy way to get everyone involved, AND have a yummy dessert.
Check out the cute score sheet printable I made
I created this ice cream printable scoring sheet, and everyone got a copy. We used plastic cups and one by one went around and served everyone a tiny scoop of each ice cream. They had time to taste the ice cream, rate it, and then wait a minute before the next flavor went around.
After the tasting was over, there was plenty left for people to try their favorite flavors again.
This was the winner of our ice cream taste test
We chose seven different ice cream flavors, and tried to make them all very different, and different brands. There was no rhyme or reason for these particular flavors or brands, just what was available at the grocery store we went to.
The winner was Private Selection “Black Raspberry with Dark Chocolate Chunk.” It was incredible!!
This would also be very fun to do with homemade ice cream, or dairy free ice cream, or all different brands of vanilla ice cream…you get the idea. Lots of variations!
