Once I finished my self portrait for the Salon, I was suddenly on a roll and wanted to paint faces like crazy. I’ve come up with some new color schemes that are working pretty well, so painting the figure lately has been so much fun.

So I asked my good friend, Christine, to come over and let me take some pictures of her. (If you’re my friend and live in Provo, you’re in grave danger of being asked to pose for paintings…just sayin’).

After two days of painting, here is my final product.

And now I’m on such a roll that two more paintings are on my easel, ready to be worked on. I’ll show you those soon…
