Remember that scene from “You’ve Got Mail” when Kathleen is sick and Joe comes over to bring her flowers? Remember how there are tissues everywhere, and she’s so stuffed up that her voice becomes all nasal-y? And how she coughs and sneezes all over him?
That’s how I feel today. Except no one brought me daisy’s.
Although Philip did come home the other day with a pot of chrysanthemums, which certainly brightened my day. And if you’re wondering how I know how to spell that crazy word, just watch Anne of Green Gables.
I love that scene! Well, I’m sending you a virtual daisy!
Daisies are such “happy” flowers. I’d get some to you if I could. (Now I want to watch You’ve Got Mail!)
I hope you feel better soon.
feel better soon! taylor’s home sick too 🙁
The Sickness has now moved on to plague homes other than just ours. Sorry!
You are too cute. I’m sorry you’re sick!! I love your movie references. And I love even more that I get them.
Merrick I’m sorry you’re sick. That’s no fun at all. I hope you get better soon and just for fun you should watch You’ve Got Mail while you relax on the couch.
OK – I’m sick now (caught it from Kinsey), anticipate I’ll have a miserable night – yippee .
