A few weeks ago I asked for your advice on what to sew for this quarter. I always love feedback from you guys, so I was excited to hear what you wanted a tutorial for. And the winning request? A jumpsuit!
I’ve been seeing jumpsuits everywhere this season and I think they’re great transitional pieces from summer to fall and winter, so it’s perfect timing for a tutorial like this. Since all jumpsuits are certainly not created equal I’ve been searching online for a specific idea of what I want my jumpsuit to look and found the seven jumpsuits below that are all close to what I want. Now I just have to decide on a fabric — black, solid bright color, floral? Help! Tell me what fabric you think I should go with!

I can't wait for this tutorial! I just love the jumpsuit look! I am especially loving deep fall solids like blue and purple, but I recently saw a large print leopard jumpsuit, and it stole my heart!

I love 3, 4 & 6 and I would go with black.

Love 5’s collar and pattern… if it had sleeves it would be perfect. Love jumpsuits but since we live in humid places I cannot wear layers without dying, so sleeves and necklines that don’t need layers are always a must for me.
I love number one in a solid or pattern! Can't wait to see what you come up with! I'm sure it will be amazing a always!
I would suggest you go with floral. Even in winter u can carry with a solid jacket and it would awesome. Though I love black so much… But somehow feel floral will look great.

I love that you are tacking a jumpsuit, that sounds like a big challenge! I’m a huge fan of the classic black jumpsuit, but a bold blue would be fun or even an awesome floral print. I can’t wait to see it!
