Behind the Scenes: My Anthropologie Launch Party

Friends, I’m still smiling about this night. To celebrate the launch of my Anthropologie collection, we threw a little party under the trees, and I want to take you behind the scenes of every detail.

I got to invite some of the most talented influencers in our area along with a few of my very closest friends. And the best part? My whole team flew in to be there. These are the people who make Merrick’s Art happen every single day, so having them in one place to celebrate felt so special.

If you missed the post all about the collection itself, you can catch up on it here.

Setting the Scene

We hosted everything poolside right at golden hour, and honestly the light did half the work for us. Cocktail tables were draped in cream linens tied with big soft bows, each topped with a little rattan lamp and a moody fall arrangement of blooms, berries, and fruit.

We leaned into deep reds, plum, and warm golds to match the collection. Racks of plaid dresses, dark florals, a red suede jacket, and the coziest leopard faux fur coat were styled right into the space so guests could see (and touch!) the pieces up close.

We sipped on the prettiest mocktails, garnished with dried orange slices, and the food was so good. Nobody went home hungry, I promise.

The Gifting Table

This was one of my favorite corners of the night. We set a long table in deep red velvet and lined it with black gift bags, each one hand lettered with a guest’s name and stuffed with purple tissue.

Guests got to pick out goodies from Anthropologie, including scarves, beaded bracelets, necklaces, and candles. Watching everyone stack bracelets on their wrists with a drink in hand was the sweetest thing.

Build Your Own Gloss Charm

Okay, this table was a total hit. Everyone started with an Anthropologie Peptide Lip Jelly in shades like Sticky Bun, Latte, and Melon, then made it their own.

Here’s how it worked:

  1. Choose your gloss (we used THESE!)
  2. Add a colorful paracord (used THESE)
  3. Personalize it with beads, gold letter charms, and a gold clip (used THIS KIT)

I loved seeing the initials everyone picked and how different each one turned out. It’s such a fun, easy idea if you’re ever hosting a girls’ night of your own!

The Best Part: The People

As pretty as everything looked, what I’ll remember most is the feeling. Women who love style, celebrating each other, laughing around the tables, and staying way later than planned.

Thank you to Anthropologie for making this collection a dream, to my team for pulling off every last detail, and to every single person who came out to celebrate. And to all of you who have shopped the collection and shared your looks, thank you for supporting this little dream of mine.
