These last few days have felt like spring!! I love spring! People are laying out in the sun all over campus, I don’t have to wear a coat, and the combination of all these things just makes life SO much better.

The only unfortunate thing amidst all this happiness is that I have to sit inside and paint rather than run around in the sun. This is what I’m stuck inside doing:

This is stage 2 – I have no pictures of stage 1, but you can sort of see the orange underpainting on the top right side of the easel.

This is stage 3 – I’ve moved on to stage 4, but this is all you get for now. I feel like too much of a dork to go through all those “stages.”
