Hi there, this is very surprising, that those small businesses sometimes do not accept cards! Really weird, but this still happens, even in the U.S., where digital payments are predominant. Last Saturday I was at the dentist’s, and like in your case, they only accepted cash. I didn’t have it on me, so I had to run to the ATM and withdraw! Gosh, what a Stone Age. Needless to say that was my last visit to this clinic. Why they are acting this way idk. Maybe the commission fee for acquiring payments is too high for this sort of economy. I am planning to start my own business soon, but seeing this, I have absolutely no intention of working with just cash. I know I will save a few bucks on transaction fee, but will lose most of my clients. Not so long ago I saw payments orchestration website; their terms look more innovative then any others’, so my next step will be to explore what they can offer to my business. As far as I can see now it is much more than I could even imagine before.
