A big part of a good painting or drawing is good composition. Single figure compositions are fairly easy to learn, but now that we’re moving on to two figure, I’m finding it’s quite a bit harder.

But after a few weeks of working on this, I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’m learning how to fill the space, leave interesting negative space, and get the two figures to interact with eachother. Keep in mind this was one model, doing two poses.
