Aaaaand…another little update on the pregnancy. I’m now 30 1/2 weeks along and this baby is over fifteen inches and almost three pounds (which babycenter.com somehow relates to the size of a cabbage…have you ever seen a fifteen inch long cabbage before?! Cause I have not…).

I’m still feeling great, although he is the most wiggly baby which has caused a little bit of nausea in the evenings. At my last appointment they told me I was borderline anemic, which explained a lot of my tiredness and frequent light headed-ness. Now that I’ve been on an iron supplement for the last week, I’m suddenly feeling way better and have a ton more energy. Hallelujah.

Peanut started preschool yesterday and is now going to be gone twice a week in the mornings. With all this renewed energy, I’m planning to get all the baby prep finished up in these next nine or ten weeks while he’s gone. With any luck I’ll get everything done in that short amount of time without going into labor. Here’s hoping!

Pregnancy looks good on you. I have to ask, new reader to your blog, is that a maternity dress or non–can't tell since you're still so small? And where'd you get it? Or did you make it?

  14. Kelly says:

Ahh I love this photo montage you're creating. It'll be so nice to look back at 🙂
And glad to hear you're feeling better. Hopefully you'll get a chance to finish preparing everything!

  15. Mindy:

The dress is two Gap maternity t-shirts that I cut up and turned into a dress. The stripes help hide the seam that's right around my hips 🙂

So darling! I love the red necklace in week 27! Can you believe 30 weeks was when I had Lucy? She was right about 15 inches long, but definitely not in the shape of a cabbage. 😉

  17. You look beautiful, Merrick! Glad you'll be able to get some up and coming rest! That little one will be here before you know it!
