3 EASY HOLIDAY HAIRSTYLES

During the holidays, I always feel like doing a little something extra with my hair. It’s fun to mix things up from my normal ponytail or curls routine, and it seems to fit with the special clothes and makeup that often come with the season.
Any of these three hairstyles would be perfect for the holidays, no matter how casual or dressy your event might be.

Big loose curls are so easy, but instantly create a glamorous look. I’ve always struggled to create big loose curls that will stay (they always fall out after an hour or two!), but I recently picked up the Nume 32mm curling wand and I’m completely in love with it. It gave me these loose curls, and they lasted all day, and even overnight…they only needed a little touch-up the next morning.

You can get any Nume curling wand for $28 this month with code HAIRCARE28, or 55% off site-wide + free shipping through the rest of the month with code SNOWMAN55. Their wands are usually $140, snag yourself one so you can rock that holiday hair, OR pick up a few and give them as gifts!

You can do this next one as a messy bun, or a braided bun. I did a combination of the two and did a loose messy braid, then wrapped it up in a bun and pinned it in place. My messy buns are usually pretty messy and wild, so the braid helps keep it looking a little more sophisticated and purposeful.

I love how this last one turned out. It’s the perfect hairstyle for a relaxing Christmas day, or for a cozy holiday gathering with friends.

Start on the top left side of your head and do a loose french braid all the way around the base of your head. When you reach the bottom right side of your head, pull all of your hair into a small hair tie. Then split the ponytail in half and do a fishtail braid with the ponytail. Then loosen the fishtail braid so it’s messy, pull it up over your head, and tuck it in a few inches past the start of your french braid. Pin in place, and then pin the rest of your fishtail braid to the top of your head so it stays in place.

This one sounds a little tricky, and does take a little time, but if you know how to french braid and fishtail, it’s easy and looks so stunning when it’s done. Pull out a few front pieces and loosely curl for an even more laid back and effortless braided look!

Which one will you be trying??

  2. I just got that curling wand in the mail yesterday, I’m excited to give it a try! I am a little suspicious of their pricing model/product though since they mark down everything SO much (and gave me another coupon for $110 off my next purchase).

Honestly I was too. But I have two of their wands and they’re really great quality and I haven’t had a single problem with. Hope you love yours as much as I love mine!

All three are beautiful! Thank you for the link (and discount code) to the wand. I’ve been wanting one of these for a few years and your review (along with the fantastic price) pushed me to do it. I get so frustrated with curls falling out, so I helps them hold even just a little bit.
