This week I’m feeling a bit stressed. I don’t get stressed very often, but next week is Sewing Summit, and although I’m so excited (trip by myself, plane ride by myself (!!!!), rooming with these amazing girls, and more), there are a lot of things to do before I waltz out the door and leave my three boys behind for an entire weekend.

So the other night, to help get away from my ever-growing to-do list, we took a walk downtown. Every Tuesday there’s a farmer’s market on main street in HB and the bustle of people, the fresh ocean breeze, the live music, the smell of the food carts, and just walking with my boys cleared my head. Plus, we saw a giant dog and ate a giant triple chocolate cookie, and those two things are guaranteed to make everything better.
