One of my very favorite things I made this Christmas was the gifts for my best friends from Las Vegas. There were seven of us that grew up together, went to high school together, and then all came to BYU. Crazy, huh? Well lucky for us, we like each other enough to still stay in contact, even though we’ve now moved on to different stages of life, and different areas of the country.

I wanted to make something for them, since I always feel like a homemade gift is a little more meaningful. I also wanted one thing that I could make for all of them, since I knew I’d be making six. And lastly, I wanted something that all of them would like, despite our drastically different personalities and styles. With a little voting from my mom and sisters, I ended up making these flower headbands for all the “Vegas Girls:”

I think they turned out so cute, and of course I knew that the girls liked them when we showed up to a little get together less than a week after Christmas and two of the girls showed up wearing theirs.

I’ve since made several headbands similar to this one, that I’m going to sell on my Etsy site as soon as it goes up. In the mean time, if you’re interested in buying one, email me.
