A few months ago I shared this post about different ways to wear your overalls. With Fall quickly approaching, I wanted to share 3 more ideas to wear them into fall!
First, with a big chunky sweater. I wore them in my last overalls post with a more fitted sweater, but don’t be afraid to try a thicker sweater. With a pair of skinny overalls, it creates a really fun and cozy look.
Next, try layering a cardigan over the top. I went with a chunky, waterfall front cardigan, and it creates a cozy, bundled look. I wore a plain black tee underneath, but you could do stripes or another small pattern to create a little pop of pattern.
Third, try them with plaid. I tried on a few of my plaid shirts before I found one that didn’t read “farmer,” but this dark green and blue one was the perfect match. Choose ones that are a more subtle plaid, and a good contrast to the wash of your denim. If your overalls are a dark wash, choose a lighter plaid. And vise versa for lighter wash overalls like mine.
