It’s 2017, so I’m sure most of you know by now those fashion rules about not wearing your white pants in the winter, or not mixing brown and black together, are just silly. In the world of fashion, anything goes these days, for better or for worse. So white pants, especially white jeans, are totally acceptable any time of year.
The key to wearing them is to make them feel winter appropriate, and you do that by pairing them with pieces that are more obviously seasonal.
Try pairing them with a cozy sweater and over the knee boots, or a camel colored wool coat and sneakers. Or, like I did here, a black top and a suede jacket. You could pair them with rich tones, all neutrals, or even soft grey or tan (like I did right here).
The point is to wear everything in your closet, and by finding ways to wear seasonal pieces all year round, your closet gets that much bigger. Think you can try it?
