Shopping for little boys can be kind of tough sometimes. I mean, their default is always legos, but seriously I can only own so many more of those before we’re completely bursting at the seams.

So my boys and I have teamed up with Old Navy today to come up with a few fun gift ideas that are fun and unique, and are things they actually want.

It was actually pretty funny — the things I would have picked out for them, as their mom, were totally different than what they picked. So we did a little side by side comparison. Clearly I don’t really know what he likes!

Mine and his gifts

COWL NECK SWEATER  ||  FLEECE PULLOVER
REINDEER HAT  ||  EPIC HAT
COLOR BLOCK HIGH TOPS  ||  TIGER FOOT SLIPPERS
STRIPED BASEBALL TEE  ||  “THIS IS MY HOUSE” TEE
LET IT SNOW PJ’S  ||  SUPERMAN PJ’s

So if you’re shopping for your boys, nephews, or little brothers, don’t take my advice…take my boy’s advice and get them some Tiger slippers or an “EPIC” beanie…you’ll be the favorite for sure.

    • Thanks so much for letting me know! I’ll look into it asap. It’s so helpful when you guys tell me things that aren’t working, so I REALLY appreciate it! xox

    • I think I fixed the issue — have the featured photos been showing up for you the last few days?

    I got my son that cowl neck sweater and luckily, he loved it! He is a bit more style conscious than my other two kids.

    • He’s going to look so handsome!

    How do you get your boys to cooperate for pictures all at the same time?! We did pictures today and we only have one child. He was only good for like 2 minutes and the rest of the time he was running away…

    • A couple of things — one, they’ve been doing it for a few years now and they’ve definitely gotten better over time. Two, we keep their shoots VERY short…like 5 minutes or less. And three, we mostly shoot with one of our good friends (Rad and Happy), so they know her very well and are really comfortable with her. She makes them laugh and just runs around shooting while they play and have fun.
