Summer Hair

Now that we're officially heading into summer, I've decided it's time to tackle my hair. For the last few years, I have done my hair a total of three ways -- curly, straight, or in a bun. And since the summer heat makes my curled hair straight, and my straightened hair stringy, I thought it was time to get creative. Yesterday I tackled a little side french braid with a low side bun (inspired by Sydney), and was really happy with how it turned out.

Especially when we went to the park for playgroup and it was a million degrees and sunny. My would-be stringy, sweaty hair was majorly thanking me.

Now let's see if I can make this more than a one time gig...place your bets.

  1. I love how you wrapped the braid all the way down to the back of your hair line. It looks so pretty!

  8. How cute does that look!?!? I try and I try to braid my hair, but alas, no such luck yet. Sometimes, if my hair is in a good mood I can sort of twist the bangs into something that sort of looks like a braid.

But mostly, my hair hates me and it always looks like crap.

    I have hair envy. =)
